Insurance
All members are required to carry an individual non-owner renter’s insurance policy with a minimum of $10,000 in hull coverage.
Pilot Requirements
Safety and regulatory compliance are our top priorities. To join Meacham Flyers, prospective members must provide the following:

Membership Initiation
The membership initiation fee is non-refundable.
Payment Setup
Members are required to keep a valid credit or debit card on file for auto-pay, which will incur a 3.5% service fee.
ACH payments are also accepted and do not incur a recurring service fee, aside from the initial setup fee charged by the payment provider.
Monthly Dues
Membership dues are billed on the 1st of each month through our online flight management system.
New members will have their first month prorated based on their join date.
Aircraft & Simulator Rentals
Aircraft and simulator rentals are paid after each flight at check-in through the club’s online flight management system.
Aircraft Care
Members are expected to return aircraft in the same or better condition as when dispatched, with fuel tanks topped off after each flight.
Getting Checked Out
Before taking to the Texas skies independently, all new members complete a comprehensive checkout with one of our Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs). This checkout process averages around three hours, depending heavily on your prior experience and currency. It is designed to thoroughly familiarize you with our specific aircraft systems, club procedures, and the local KFTW airspace.
Member Responsibilities
We take immense pride in our fleet, and our members share that responsibility. Pilots are expected to return aircraft in the exact same or better condition than when dispatched. A strict club policy requires fuel tanks to be topped off after every flight. We also emphasize strong scheduling etiquette to ensure all members enjoy fair, reliable access to the aircraft they need.
